Rape culture in the US military

By: Belen Fernandez

Last weekend, the US Air Force’s sexual assault prevention chief was arrested on charges of sexual battery – a fitting prelude, no doubt, to the Pentagon’s just-released report on soaring sex crimes in the military.

According to the report, an estimated 26,000 sex crimes took place in 2012. This beats the previous year’s estimate by 7,000.

Don’t Think The US Military Is Concerned With The Climate? Think Again

By: Dane Wigington

There are still a great many people that cant bring themselves to imagine that the mighty US military would have much if any concern with the state of global climate.

Many that can not even begin to believe that the same US military would be actively involved with ongoing climate modification “Manhattan Projects” (global geoengineering programs,SAG and SRM).

Insurance companies, government steals life insurance benefits from PTSD veterans who commit suicide

by: J. D. Heyes

There is despicable, there is diabolical, and there are both. This appears to be a story about the latter. Families of four veterans diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder following their tours of duty in combat zones who committed suicide after returning home are charging Prudential Insurance and the Department of Veterans Affairs with refusing to pay life insurance benefits they are due.

Recolonization of Syria 20 Years in the Making

By: Tony Cartalucci
Activist Post
Western corporate-financiers have plotted since at least 1991 to overturn not only Syria’s government, but to topple and co-opt the governments of every nation previously in the Soviet sphere of influence. US Army General Wesley Clark made it known during a 2007 speech given to the Commonwealth Club of California, that in 1991, then Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Paul Wolfowitz said the US had 5-10 years to clean up the old Soviet “client regimes” before the next super power rose up and challenged western hegemony.

‘Weapons of peace’ by India

The new intercontinental ballistic missile Agni-V in India – which means “fire” in India – was successfully launched from Wheeler Island. This new missile is capable of carrying nuclear warheads and potentially can affect China, Russia and parts of Eastern Europe.
Today’s was only the first test and additional test launches to be performed, but already now India is satisfied with the experiment. According to news agency Press Trust of India, Defence Minister AK Antony said: “The nation walks with his head high today.”
The launch occurred at 8:07 local time (4:07 in Italy) at Wheeler Island – off the east coast of India – and, oddly, the experiment in India has not attracted the same sensation at an international level instead procured by North Korea’s satellite launch, although it is a solid fuel missile with three stages, 17.5 meters high, weighing 50 tons and its designed to carry a nuclear warhead with a radius of 1.5 tons of ‘ Action of 5000 km, making it potentially dangerous for China, Russia and parts of Eastern Europe.

Heroin overdose deaths by US military in Afghanistan

By Michael Martinez (CNN) – Eight American soldiers died of overdoses involving heroin, morphine or other opiates during deployments in Afghanistan in 2010 and 2011, according to U.S. Army investigative reports.

The overdoses were revealed in documents detailing how the Army investigated a total of 56 soldiers, including the eight who fell victim to overdoses, on suspicion of possessing, using or distributing heroin and other opiates.

At the same time, heroin use apparently is on the rise in the Army overall, as military statistics show that the number of soldiers testing positive for heroin has grown from 10 instances in fiscal year 2002 to 116 in fiscal year 2010.

Army officials didn’t respond to repeated requests for comment on Saturday. But records from the service’s Criminal Investigation Command, obtained by the conservative legal group Judicial Watch, provided glimpses into how soldiers bought drugs from Afghan juveniles, an Afghan interpreter and in one case, an employee of a Defense Department contractor, who was eventually fired.

The drug use is occurring in a country that is estimated to supply more than 90% of the world’s opium, and the Taliban insurgency is believed to be stockpiling the drug to finance their activities, according to a 2009 U.N. study. While the records show some soldiers using heroin, much of the opiate abuse by U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan involves prescription drugs such Percocet, the Army documents show.

Biometric ID Plan; Millions Scanned, it’s for our security or just a step to an orwellian state?

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Biometric systems – those that identify individuals based on unique biological characteristics like fingerprints, retinal patterns, voice, or facial features – have long been considered the future of security protocols. Technological advances over the past decade in particular have made them much more widespread in practical application, but a new report form the National Research Council says that could be a mistake, as the systems are “inherently fallible.” The report – commissioned by security-inclined bodies including DARPA, the CIA, and the Department of Homeland Security – found that while biometric systems are effective at certain specific tasks, the promise of biometrics has surpassed the actual technological delivery, and that could lead to serious problems as the systems are rolled out more and more widely. On the front lines in Iraq, U.S. troops can scan someone’s eye or finger to try to determine if he is a potential enemy or has been connected to a terror attack. At military bases on U.S. soil, it’s not that easy. The use of biometrics — ranging from simple fingerprints to more advanced retinal and facial scans — has thrived in Iraq, where soldiers carry handheld devices that enable them to link to databases filled with hundreds of thousands of identities.

Afghanistan horror, Marines posing with corpses

NEW YORK – Smiling, some American soldiers appear beside the mangled bodies of Afghan insurgents, allegedly died while preparing explosive devices: are the pictures that the Los Angeles Times published today (HERE IS THE IMAGE OF THE LOS ANGELES TIMES warning this link contains images terrified that can damage your sensibilities, for how long we allow this slaughter … ENOUGH!) and which in all probability ‘exacerbate further relations between the NATO forces in Afghanistan and the authorities’ Afghan. The newspaper says that despite pressure from the authorities that he had ‘U.S. military has decided to publish two of the 18 pictures of which he’ entered into possession. The most ‘shocking shows two U.S. soldiers near two Afghan police officers who take their feet off the ground for two bare legs amputated and bleeding badly. In the other we see a soldier in the foreground smiling while behind him his companion looks at the corpse of a man who has his eyes wide open. The Los Angeles Times writes that in the other photos you can see two soldiers posing argue that the hand of a corpse with his middle finger raised, and also a band that says ‘Zombie Hunter’ (‘zombie hunters’). The newspaper writes that it is shots of 2010 and had them by the same soldiers who belong 82/ma Airborne Division soldiers portrayed in the photos, which have indicated they would like ‘to draw attention to problems of safety of two bases in Afghanistan. ” Lay with corpses for photographs for other than official purposes is a violation of military procedures,” said an Army spokesman, George Wright. An investigation of the incident and ‘was already’ started, while Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has already ‘expressed” firmly” his sentence.

A reason to fight, kill and die: a retrospective on the U.S. war machine

A reason to fight, kill and die: a retrospective on the U.S. war machine

“Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy.”

        -Henry Kissinger-

God does not approve of guns or warfare, nor do His true Christian followers. However, it is important to understand another factor in the coming Time of Trouble, namely, the Planned Destruction of the U.S. Military.

The U.S. Military is being destroyed from the inside. The Zionist Jews and their Neo-con agents, Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, Dov Zakheim and others, working from behind the scenes through the out-in-front puppets of the last administration, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Condoleeza Rice, as well as those of the present administration, puppets President Barack Obama , Secretary of State Hillary Clinton , have a sophisticated plan to destroy our military without a shot – from a gun, that is.

Vaccinations

A new recruit to the Armed Forces receives a minimum of 10 vaccines – and these 10 are given 3 times – for a total of 30 vaccines received. And the vaccines often are combined and given in one or 2 shots, meaning a recruit will get between 5 and 10 vaccines in one injection. Medical studies have shown that the more vaccines a person is given in combination, the more dangerous they are to the recipient.

And these are only the ones that the military “admits” they are giving to the new recruits. There are many rumors that new untested vaccines are given to these young men and women, without their knowledge or consent. They are nothing more than involuntary research subjects – otherwise known as “guinea pigs.”

Gulf War Syndrome that has 1) made thousands of military personnel terribly ill, 2) is contagious, having been transferred to the man or woman’s spouse, and 3) has caused horrendous birth defects in their babies, appears to be caused by a combination of experimental vaccines given to the troops, coupled with exposure to depleted uranium.

Afghanistan: Opium production increases …. Understanding why ..

oppioAccording to a recent UN report, in 2011 the production of opium in Afghanistan has increased by 61% compared to 2010.

At the base of the terrible surge, the rising price of opium on the market, which would prompt farmers to expand plantings of 7% in a given anno.Un disturbing, especially considering that Afghanistan, alone, is who produced 90% of all opium in circulation and that last year the tons of “drug Poppy” produced in the country rose to 5,800.

The survey, organized by ‘UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime), said that the cultivation of the poppy crop has reached 131mila hectares in 2011 and that, compared with 14 last year, we are now 17 Afghan provinces concerned by this type of cultivation.

According to the Observatory Afghanistan “Approximately 78% of the crop is concentrated in the southern Afghan provinces, the heart of the rebellion led by the Taliban. Another 17% is produced in the remote and lawless regions to the south-west, under the influence of the revolt and out of the reach of the central government. This – the report highlights – confirms the link between insecurity and poppy cultivation observed since 2007. “

The lack of security in the countryside and the total instability of the country, which for ten years exactly is the theater of war missions totally ineffective is a factor widely exploited by drug traffickers, who are willing to provide protection to growers and funds.

A weighed on the increase of drug crops, also the total lack of government action and agricultural policies designed to convert the type of crops, which lack, however, only increases the already dire social gap within the country.
