Earthquake: Iran rejects U.S. aid

TEHRAN,  – Iran announced that it has refused U.S. humanitarian aid for victims of the earthquake last Saturday because they ‘have not been proposed in’ good faith ‘.

” We do not believe that the United States we have offered their help in good faith” – said Ghedami Hassan, head of crisis management for the Ministry of Interior – stressing that sanctions by Western governments have caused a crisis in supply of medicines

  1. Good for them!!! Was that a natural earthquake? or man-made? Under the circumstances, if the US offered my aid, I’d turn them down too. It could be that the earthquake occurred so that Iran would call out to the US for help. If that were the case, the likelihood is that the offer would be a Trojan Horse.
